If you’re an ACP you must upload accurate and complete implementation data to TESSA when you apply to register certificates. This helps meet certificate market requirements and public expectations by making sure certificates correctly represent savings calculations.

Providing incorrect or incomplete implementation data forms part of your compliance history and may:

  • be an offence, and
  • result in improper creation of certificates.

We will only make changes to registry data in exceptional circumstances.

Before uploading implementation data to TESSA

Before uploading implementation data to a registration case in TESSA, check that:

  • the implementations meet your conditions of accreditation and comply with ESS or PDRS Rule requirements
  • you hold all required records and evidence for the implementations
  • you have completed quality assurance checks and internal audits on the implementation data
  • the implementation data file is formatted in line with the TESSA CSV Technical Guide
  • all required fields in the implementation data file are complete and accurate.

After uploading implementation data to TESSA

  • review any validation error messages shown in TESSA after you upload your implementation data to the registration case (these messages highlight missing or invalid fields in your data)
  • make any required corrections in your implementation data and re-upload the data file before proceeding with the registration
  • review the implementation data on the case to confirm it is complete and accurate before you submit the registration.

Need help?

We’ve added an ESC Registration Guide to our knowledge articles in TESSA with more detailed instructions. You will need to be a registered TESSA user to access this. We will publish a PRC Registration Guide soon.
