We have published a notice setting out requirements for evidencing PDRS BESS1 DER Register requirements.
For implementations occurring on the Endeavor Energy network from 23 May to 19 June 2025, evidence of a proper application to register a battery installation on the DER Register should be consistent with the evidence requirements for the Ausgrid and Essential Energy networks.
Transitional arrangements allowing ACPs to register certificates where a battery installation is not registered on the DER Register but where a proper application to register the battery installation on the DER Register has been made will lapse on 19 June 2025. When applying to register certificates on or after 20 June 2025, ACPs will require evidence that the battery installation is registered on the DER Register.
ACPs should review and understand the requirements and inform their representatives.
