Notice 01/2021 - Compliance Action - Energy Efficiency company sanctioned over false invoices

IPART has taken action against Australian company Cyanergy over false recycling invoices. Following an investigation IPART found that Cyanergy used false recycling invoices to support the creation of Energy Savings Certificates. Cyanergy agreed to surrender 10,898 Energy Savings Certificates and the Scheme Administrator placed a condition on Cyanergy's accreditation requiring it to undertake independent audits prior to creating any Certificates.
