Operating as an ACP
As an ACP, you may be eligible to create:

It is important to operate and create certificates in line with legislative requirements. See below for some things you need to know for operating successfully as an ACP.
What you need to know as an ACP
To operate successfully as an ACP under the Energy Security Safeguard, you need to know about:
- how your compliance is assessed under the schemes
- undertaking audits and reporting on your implementations
- costs you may incur as an ACP, such as certificate registration fees and audit costs
- working with others to implement activities, like installers, suppliers, and consumers
- templates that you must use or are there to assist you
- managing your accreditation, such as changing your conditions of accreditation and becoming accredited to undertake new activities
- becoming nominated as the energy saver or capacity holder for an implementation
- calculating energy savings and peak demand reduction capacity, and things you must do before applying to register certificates
- registering and transferring certificates
- our online systems that support your participation.

To operate successfully as an ACP under the ESS, you need to know about:
- the legislation underpinning the ESS
- calculation methods and activities from which to create ESCs
- the deadline to create ESCs.
What you need to know for the PDRS
To operate successfully as an ACP under the PDRS, you need to know about:
- the legislation underpinning the PDRS
- calculation methods and activities from which to create PRCs
- PRC vintage and forward creation
- PRC status
- PRC expiry
- the deadline to create PRCs.
