Measurement and Verification Professionals confirm the validity of energy models used when calculating energy savings under the Project Impact Assessment with Measurement and Verification method. To be a M&V Professional you must be approved by IPART.
Legislation requires that approved Measurement and Verification Professionals (M&V Professionals) confirm the validity of energy models used under the Project Impact with Measurement and Verification (PIAM&V) method. We approve M&V Professionals and maintain a list of them.
To become an M&V Professional you must submit an application form and supporting information.
M&V Professionals may either have general approval to operate or be approved in relation to specific implementations of a recognised energy saving activity.
