Scheme participants have obligations
If you’re a scheme participant, you need to meet several obligations. Full details are in Compliance Guide - Scheme Participants. See below for a summary for some of these.
ESS obligations
- Lodge an ESS Annual Statement in TESSA
- Pay any applicable shortfall penalty
PDRS obligations
- Notify us of non-market acquisitions or exempt electricity loads
- Notify us of your Individual Liable Demand
- Lodge a PDRS Annual Statement
- Pay any applicable shortfall penalty
Audit obligations
You will need an audit if you:
- intend to claim an exempt electricity load
- have non-market acquisitions above the audit threshold.
Scheme participants need to meet obligations. These can be unique to the scheme.
