Summary

In April 2024, we asked for feedback on a proposed change to how data is collected. The change would require ACPs to give product details for certain activities under the ESS and PDRS. This was in response to new and emerging activities in both programs. 

Response and outcome

Thank you for your submissions. We have used this feedback to finalise the consultation outcomes.  

As a result of feedback, we have removed the requirement to provide refrigerant data for hot water heaters. All other data requirements will remain the same as originally proposed.  

The changes to implementation data to require products data will go live in TESSA on 1 August 2024. Refer to the updated CSV Specification Guide, ESS Examples template and PDRS Examples template for further details. 

We will be collecting product data at the time of certificate registration for the following activities under the ESS and PDRS:  

  • Hot water heaters
  • Air conditioning units
  • Refrigerated display cabinets
  • Pool pumps.
