Apply for acceptance of other products
This information is for manufacturers, ACPs and other product applicants.
You need to apply to have other products accepted. If we accept the product, we will add it to Accepted Products list.
You must apply for chimney dampers, water heaters and lighting. See the water heater and lighting dedicated pages for details.
Use our online system, TESSA, to apply as follows:
- Raise a case in TESSA.
- Attach required documents.
- Submit your application.
We may request further information to review your application. Please ensure it is complete when you submit it.

Duplicates cannot be submitted
You cannot apply for duplicate models in TESSA. The system will automatically reject your application.
We do not process products that are already accepted. However, if your product requires acceptance across different calculation methods, please contact our team to discuss the next steps.
Please note that there are different requirements and values to submit for HEER and IHEAB calculation methods. These cannot be submitted jointly.
