Scheme participants have obligations

If you’re a scheme participant, you need to meet several obligations. Full details are in Compliance Guide - Scheme Participants. See below for a summary for some of these.

ESS obligations
  • Lodge an ESS Annual Statement in TESSA
  • Pay any applicable shortfall penalty
PDRS obligations
  • Notify us of non-market acquisitions or exempt electricity loads
  • Notify us of your Individual Liable Demand
  • Lodge a PDRS Annual Statement
  • Pay any applicable shortfall penalty
Audit obligations

You will need an audit if you:

  • intend to claim an exempt electricity load
  • have non-market acquisitions above the audit threshold.
