Should I become an ACP?

See below for some things you should consider before applying for accreditation.

ACP obligations

ACPs need to comply with certain requirements. These include reporting, record keeping, undertaking audits, and resolving customer issues. ACPs need to complete paperwork and access online systems to meet these obligations.

Costs of being an ACP

Applying for accreditation incurs a fee. ACPs also need to pay certificate registration fees. In addition, they will need to cover costs associated with setting up business processes and systems and completing audits.

Alternatives to being an ACP

Are you thinking of becoming an ACP for a small-scale activity or project? In some cases accreditation may not be worth the time and expense involved. You might prefer to partner with an existing ACP to carry out installations.
